Lan­guage is an im­por­tant part of the way we frame prob­lems, think about the world, and dis­cuss things with oth­ers. The study of lan­guage is par­tic­u­larly rele­vant to LessWrong be­cause many very smart peo­ple con­fuse them­selves and oth­ers by mi­sus­ing words.
