Solstice 2022 Roundup
Many of you are already familiar with Rationalist Winter Solstice, our home-grown winter holiday. As the year grows literally dark, we gather in our respective communities to face various forms of darkness together, to celebrate what light human civilization has made, and to affirm ourselves as a community of shared values.
This thread is a central place to gather information about specific events. Please post times, places, registration or rsvp links, restrictions if any, etc.
New York / East Coast

The Megameetup is located about two miles north of the PATH Hoboken station, near New York Ave and 10th st. Exact address is going out by email to people who registered.
In the past some people have gone back to the Megameetup after Solstice, and the address was announced at Solstice. The space we’re in counts people past midnight as extra guests, so if that’s where the afterparty wants to be then it’ll need to be shorter.
We’re one week away from the NYC megameetup. As of right now, everyone who registered should have an email with more information. If you haven’t seen that, try your spam folder, and if you don’t see it get in touch. There’s also now a facebook messenger thread, which not everyone got added to because going from names to facebook accounts isn’t always obvious. If you want in on that, you should also get in touch on facebook.
Overnight registrations are closed. Day registrations, for anyone who wants food and games and unconferences, are open and planned to remain open.
