I… hesitantly tagged this with “Games (videogame/tabletop)” because it’s where this sort of content has historically gone but boy does it stretch the limits.
I guess we can have a Game Design tag that sometimes applies to sports and dating shows,
Oh my comment was more about the ontological confusion than “what is this even doing here?”, I think this is great.
But, it sort of reminds me of when I made a tag called “Institution design” and someone renamed it to “mechanism design” and then I didn’t have a place to put the culture-design things I’d been putting in Institution Design. (Where, in this case, I’m feeling tempted to broaden the scope of Games (Board/Video) because making a whole new Game Design tag doesn’t really feel quite right, but then I imagine some sad person who liked the Video/Boardgame tag just the way it was)
I strong-upvoted this post, because this is exactly The Content I Want Here. I think the point of rationality is to apply The Methods until they become effortless; the major value proposition of a rationality community is to be in a place where people apply The Methods to everything. Seeing others apply The Methods by default causes our socially driven brains to do the same. Super-ego, or Sie if you like TLP. Everything includes Love Island. One of my favourite genres of post is “The Methods applied to unusual thing”.

Sure, whatever people want. I realize this is not The Content People Want Here and I am 100% down for that, I get one for me every now and then.

FWIW I’m glad you posted it here, albeit mainly because it’s by you.
