My guess is you are just confused, but I really can’t tell whether this post is trying to troll or not? I have strong-downvoted you for now, not because I don’t think it’s valid for people to plead to not ban someone (I think that’s fine and reasonable), but because those are some really confusing sentences.
I’ll attempt to explain the lines that are confusing you.
The anecdote was a self-deprecating parody of my tendency to wander off into personal anecdotes while posting. I was trying to contrast it with Said Achmiz’s focus on the object level problem, which is much more suited to less wrong.
I am referring to his responses to me on DSL.
Point is, while these things all sting, and I remember them, they are of equal importance.
