I’ve been dealing with the same issues in pandora....i just can’t believe in the era of AI, it’s algorithm plays a related artist just because they’re female as well. Or an 90′s song that sounds totally different but since it was on the radio in the same era, it plays it for me as a similar artist. I’d assume These apps have so much data they could find me every song that exists that i’d LIKELY enjoy.
I totally agree. If the ultimate goal is to affect change, then messaging is extremely important. And if some messaging has to be adjusted at the expense of truth, than to me, that’s a price to pay. Same goes for climate change.
