My main LessWrong-adjacent project is a full, annotated translation of Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality to Castilian Spanish. The text is fully done, by hand (no IA), waiting for editing before being published.

I’d like to congratulate you, specifically, for this curation note. It is high quality for two reasons. First, it helped me understand the article a bit before diving in. I think it is a very good practice to note the reasons behind the curation, and I’d like to see more comments like this (not all will need to be long or detailed). Plus, this comment appears before the text of the article on the email, but then it quietly appears on the comments on the site, so it does not hinder the navigation. Seems like the best of both worlds.

This piece landed on my Inbox (I’m subscribed to “Curated”) and it first piqued my curiosity, until I reached the conspiratorial part, double checked, and understood what I was reading. Still, this derailed my flow, and I’m not pleased. I’m not sure about the rules here, but for the look of my inbox, Fiction is not (usually) upgraded to Curated. And for what is worth, I would prefer it would not. I’m used to being able to engage with anything from LessWrong as, at least, interesting and informative. Often, much better than just that. Merely “entertaining” should not make the cut.
EDIT: It is entertaining, and even fun. I have, in fact, upvoted the OP. This is separate from my comment, which is about the decision of including it in curated, thus triggering the email.
I can also confirm it’s not tagged anywhere in the email as “Fiction”, as jfw01 said.
Note: This is, apparently, my first comment in LessWrong, which surprises me. Have I really never posted? Maybe I’m misremembering, or confusing Less Wrong with the EA Forum, where I do have, at least, commented. Anyway, I read the rules, and this is indeed my father’s rock.
