TagLast edit: 9 Dec 2022 21:58 UTC by Alex_Altair

A cellular automaton is a model of computation which takes place in a discrete space (“cells”).

They can be helpful to study the behavior and implications of different dynamics, and understanding the relationship between computing and our universe.

The best known cellular automaton is Conway’s Game of Life.
