As a minor comment to those seeking effective modalities, practitioners who:
explicitly language or implicitly enact/embody a belief that their approach/tool/technique is in some sense optimal,
believe their technique is applicable to all/most people, or
believe their technique is useful agnostic to context
are generally poor practitioners and are to be avoided.
A narrow mindset of this type confines their capacity to help generally and, if you happen to be in the population highly responsive to their thing, the mindset is likely to confine yours moving forward.
