Regarding canon, that seems like the kind of thing that should only be decided after a certain amount of time has passed as some posts have more staying power than others.
Yeah, part of the thought here was to look back and say “which posts, after 6 months or so, still seem relevant?”
And yes, this would involve redesigning the Front Page in some fashion as opposed to just adding more things.
For the time being the Recommended Sequences section actually roughly functions as the Canon section (it means that things only end up in “Canon” if they ended up in the context of a sequence, which excludes some things unnecessarily , but isn’t actually the worst placeholder solution)
