i have had enough of this fucking despair! we are in a golden age of purpose. whether we like it or not. this isn’t something to be sad about. we are simply in an era where brave souls are necessary. people ought to wake up with purpose and take themselves ~ quite ~ seriously. fukuyama-era nihilism is beyond cringe, it is dangerous.

I do not plan to succumb to despair but instead plan to rage against the dying of the light. Whether I believe our endeavors will be successful or not does not change the fact that I would have preferred less turbulent times. Nothing wrong with wishing for peace even if you are forced to go to war.
