The biggest tell I can see is the Financial District plot being set in 2013 and Marlowe pulling stats about the timespan from 2011 to 2016. That kind of timeblindness is a very “AI was involved with this” thing (though it’s also a very “the human who wrote this wasn’t concerned with the details, and/or was four hours past their bedtime” thing, so it’s not a smoking gun).
Maybe I have no taste but this does not read like AI slop to me,
would anyone want to help me by pointing out how we can tell it was written by AI?
