Idk, I think you sell yourself short a bit here. If I asked a random person to make a new holiday[1], certainly not all of them, but a good fraction of them would say “Bah! Impossible!”
Definitional note. Holiday on the level of “many many people in a subculture go to a mass-like thing, sing songs, and possibly take pilgramages”, not on the level of “The UN now recognizes International Waffle Day”.
Maybe but also I did that like 14 years before training to do things-that-felt-impossible-ish so it’s at least not evidence of that training being useful.
