If you get value out of it, we’re happy for dialogues to be used that way, as long as it’s clear to all participants what the expectations re: publishing/not publishing are, so that nobody has an upleasant surprise at the end of the day. (Dialogues currently allow any participant to unilaterally publish, since most other options we could think imposed a lot of friction on publishing.)
I found this upsettingly contrary to my expectations. I thought that the way it would work would be that all participants would need to click ‘publish’ for it to publish. Not a huge deal, but you should make it clear that that is the case, and ideally allow for any of the participants to opt the dialogue out of ‘unilateral publish’ mode.

Why not make it so there is a box “ask me before allowing other participants to publish” that is unchecked by default?
