We can maybe imagine that for some people successfully working out at home is two-boxing with Omega getting it wrong (IE unlikely), gym is one-boxing and doing no working out at all is two-boxing with Omega getting it right. Omega in this case is the algorithm “You don’t have the self drive to consistently work out without the nudge a gym membership gives you.” So your two-boxing tactic makes sense insofar as you think this Omega-algorithm is wrong. (along with caveats like “If I get the membership I will actually use it”).
