On my priors that’s even likely; I think that when people post disagreement on LW it’s mostly after thinking about the thing they’re disagreeing with, and your immediate reply didn’t really add any new information for him to update on. Your inference isn’t valid.

I agree that it wouldn’t be valid as an absolute, or even as a strong claim.
