I think a big problem with this future is that large money differences become power differences. Even if a few shares is a lot of wealth, those owning few shares will be essentially under the power of those owning many, and will have to obey and probably lose everything in the long run. There are several ways for that to happen: the big corporation (let’s call it that) could have more influence over laws and use that to its advantage, or have monopoly pricing power over some resource and use that to squeeze others, or just use force when the advantage gets large enough. Certainly human corporations have done all those things without much moral consideration for those below (a good example is the Opium Wars: imagine fighting a war to continue selling opium to people while considering yourself more civilized than them). Future human-AI corporations or whatnot will do the same things, and the bigger the power imbalance, the worse.
