Everything!? I wrote an article that was well written enough and convincing enough to land on the front page
Relatively important correction: The Frontpage on LessWrong is not a quality filter, it is a topic filter. We do not have time to review the quality of every post that goes up on LessWrong, so we only filter on whether the post covers a topic that I expect people on LessWrong to be interested in, and that doesn’t violate any of our frontpage guidelines. It is completely possible for a post to end up on the frontpage, but to basically be completely factually incorrect.
