1) I take up running,
2) they look as good as the shoes I typically wear (which I find comfortable anyway) while maintaining an ergonomic edge in some circumstances,
or 3) they are shown to have significant benefits for the kind of activity I generally do.
I’ll buy a toe shoe when they’re warm, waterproof, and increase my height by an inch and a half. :P

I’ll buy a toe shoe when

None of these seem especially likely.
So, toe shoes are obviously never going to compensate for your height. However, toe shoes that are warm already exist.
