Your argument is fragile when you argue in soldier mindset, aiming for victory. A bad-faith argument risks defeat even if you win. Even if you persuade your opponent, you risk transmitting a bad idea from you to them. If you care at all about accuracy or making the world a better place, this should scare you.

If you argue with an open mind, you might be right or wrong. If you’re right, then you stand a chance of helping your debate partner come to a more accurate worldview. If you’re wrong, then it is you who will benefit. When you prioritize accuracy over victory, your argument is antifragile.
I see this more as ‘accuracy is victory’. If it’s about prioritization, then which is more important (assuming it’s not a false dichotomy) is a fact.
