Why do we assume God is a figure when maybe He’s not even an entity?

first sorry if my english is bad its not my first language and im not good at it,

many people come to realize that there is a void eternally unfillable inside of them something that cannot be filled with money, fame, sex or any form of desire so thus man believed on something outside of this world some thing we cant comprehend “GOD” we see him as a creator, a fatherly figure, so powerful but what if thats not what he is we think of that because the void inside us feels like belonging to something bigger but whats if it is not the case maybe he is something that we belong to something or somewhere, what if its not an entity an object maybe its a destination maybe its death or afterlife idk, why we perceive him as something complex something we cannot understand when we are complex, special ourselves why we perceive him as an entity maybe because that is the only form of belonging or love we know from a person to person what if its a more complex form of connection we cant comprehend.

and sorry for any grammatical incorrections and also if its cringe or said before it just crossed my mind
