Not sufficiently different, in my opinion… but I don’t have enough data here, especially about other countries.
For example, I have attended a math-oriented school, but it wasn’t anything like a math-maximizing school. More like an average school with 30% extra math. Most of our time was spent learning the standard curriculum, using standard textbooks.
