I am planning to make an announcement post for the new album in the next few days, maybe next week. The songs yesterday were early previews and we still have some edits to make before it’s ready!
No, I ended up getting sick that week and other deadlines then pushed the work later. It will still happen, but maybe only closer to LessOnline (i.e. in about a month).
I really liked the concert at LessOnline (especially “The Ninth Night of November” which is rather personal for me because FTX told me on November 3 2022 that they would fund me, and November 10 that they were in trouble, and November 14 that “the funds to support your work are gone with everything else”.
So, this is just a reminder to please release the album (unless you already did and I just can’t find it).

Back at home now, this album is excellent at summoning the particular mood blending intensity, playfulness, and weltschmerz[1] that Lighthaven consistently instills in me.
Note: “You Have Not Been A Good User” seems to be missing, with 7 seconds of silence as a placeholder.
I didn’t listen closely to the lyrics two weeks ago, but I’m finding time now. “Friendly Fire” is particularly affecting. I don’t see a co-author listed, no obvious hits on the language. Was that you? How are you doing?

All the new songs are written by me with original lyrics! (with the exception of Dance of the Doomsday Clock which was written and created by Ben)
