This bit of popular science news crossed my feed: “A new interpretation of quantum mechanics suggests reality does not depend on the measurer”, about this paper; claims to eliminate any need to have observer-dependence in QM. I guess this would apply even if one was skeptical of many-worlds, but I don’t know enough to evaluate the paper or its significance at all; anyone able to tell whether the paper’s actually meaningful?
