unclear to me if “If your birthday is an odd number” ment my age or day of month of my birthday or other.
i took the survey ☀️
ive noticed a lot of these markets no one traded on, and thought of the same arguments you listed. did some preemptive strike if betting on them with first mover advantage, a month ago i think.
very good post imo. explaining a common occurrence people have intuition for but with explicit reasoning and clear examples.
perfect timing: “5 min read”
greatly written. so relatable. i really felt like I was living your life for a moment. trapped in 5min tasks. especially the notifications coming in when already 2 levels deep.
this totally tracks with my experience of solstice. people do sing along even if their signing is not great, if they understand the goal is having fun singing together and not signing correctly

i generally love your posts, but i feel like this one is just a repeat of ugh fields? with more relatable examples.

the url for this wikitag is “https://www.lesswrong.com/w/test-2″. oops?

i will pay cad 10 to anyone wearing a wreath on their head at this meetup.
the model still needs to be smart enough to orchestrate and combine the output of its recursive children into something that converges on a coherent goal.
i really like the post though, i think it does show a more detailed view of how a non agentic program can become more than the sum of it’s parts by using recursion and data storage.
i wish the post would have been shorter though, i feel like it repeat itself often and could have been summarized better at the start.
greaterwrong is a website with the same content as lesswrong but different look, it gets its content from the lesswrong website. it’s basically just a different way to access the same posts.
lesswrong has a graphql api, which is probably the best way to read and dump posts on, if you rate limit conservatively. but that means some programming involved.
to just have a quick dump of everything it’s probably best to use wget on greaterwrong with rate limiting. email admin@greaterwrong.com before doing so to make sure you do it in a way they approve of.
