plzdontkillus is an AI safety content creator bootcamp, and I watched all of the videos from the first five days.

Here are my top 10 creators with the most potential, based on:
- presentation style
- engagement provided by video
- how likely I would be to be influenced by them about AI safety were I in their general audience.
Note that I removed people with standing experience as content creators, like Avisha NessAiver and Christian González Capizzi.
General thoughts:
- There are 56 people in the bootcamp. The bottom half of the program is shockingly bad, and I don’t think they’ll get much better.
- I think only 5-10 people have actual potential to influence AI safety in some way. I’m not sure this is a good use of money for the rest, but perhaps the funders are thinking of this as a hits businesses, or that future cohorts will improve in quality.

I run a curated Discord for high agency people with Long COVID/ME (myalgic encephalomyelitis). The group includes tech founders, researchers, rationalists/EAs, etc. The focus is on troubleshooting each other’s conditions actively, as well as creating a body of knowledge to bring back to the wider community in the form of writing, education, projects, companies, etc.
Some know me as Liface, others as Liam Rosen—I have been in the Rationality community for over 10 years, previously in the Bay, now in New York City, and am the main moderator of r/slatestarcodex. I am a tech CEO whose former life abruptly ended last year. I am now bedbound with severe Long COVID/ME, and am dedicating 100% of my time and effort to helping myself and both everyone else around me figure out these complex conditions.

Yeah, I think my ideal site would be some combination of PredictionBook and LongBets. I may code one myself, if I can’t find one.

I have one, and it’s far less comfortable.
Besides, buying these sorts of masks new should be left to healthcare workers or (“essential” workers) and those that most need them. The rest of us should wear cloth masks.

must free of anything ending -ate (except stearate) or -ic acid; free of magnesium except magnesium stearate (it’s insoluble)
The only product you link violates this. It contains stearic acid...

Completely agreed. I even publicly announced on my Facebook when Bitcoin was $7$ USD that I was buying 100USD worth, but then once I looked into how to even convert USD to Bitcoin, I said “eh, not worth, even it for some interesting economic experiment”.
