Lenz is an independent AI governance researcher and an AI policy lobbyist based in Metro Manila. They’re the Co-convenor and Lead Researcher at AI4PH, an AI Landscape Researcher at The Asia Foundation, and a course facilitator at Bluedot Impact. Previously, Lenz worked on related projects with MIT AI Risk Initiative (mapping the governance landscape in the US), ARENA 6.0 (debugging UK AISI’s Inspect Evals), AI Safety Camp (building early value-alignment benchmarks), Project GRASP (mapping AI risk mitigation strategies), and Condor Camp (through which we ran Southeast Asia’s first AI Safety Camp in Singapore).
