What particular biases add to people’s incapability to imagine that humans are “just” evolved animals? It fascinate me to hear people have no issue with natural selection for all the other life forms, just to hear that technological sophistication at current levels seems incompatible with their view of what is possible through natural selection. Leading to all types of other explanation, such as Joe Rogan recently calmly saying he truly thinks humans are engineered by aliens.
