Contrary to what you may have heard, humans are not obsolete for math. Not yet. The most obvious reason is that AI is still bad at writing.
My question is—what about when they are. That is, if LLMs become better at writing mathematics articles than humans in all respects. To me this is the urgent point that requires consideration. I feel that we are reacting to partial stages on the way to that one and so are always reactive and behind the game.
