  high-index has nothing to do with this (since this applies to all colors), just considering lens material, dispersion/​abbe value is the important factor in chromatic aberration distance. another factor is distance of lens to retina

  practically impossible to get enough calcium from real food from vegan sources (you’re stuck taking medicine for it in the form of supplements or eating artificially fortified sources, like soy milk).

  I don’t see why this disqualifies it? A calcium supplement is extremely chemically simple
