London meetup, Sunday 1 May, 2pm, near Holborn
The London LessWrong meetup takes place on the first Sunday of every other month. We’re getting good at these now! The next one is 2011-05-01 14:00, at the Shakespeares Head (official page) on Kingsway near Holborn Tube station. Note that there’s more than one pub in London with that name, so make sure you get the right one. As always, we’ll have a big picture of a paperclip on the table so you can find us; I look like this. Hope to see lots of you there!

Thinking of going to this, but I feel compelled to apologize in advance for my social ineptitude/disability + lack of anything interesting to say (except to disagree with some LW sacred cows, like the value of cryonics).
(“I may as well not go” well that’s quite true. Perhaps I’ll see sense and take my own advice.)
By the way, I still have a few paperclip badges. If you didn’t show up in March, show up in May!
I’ll probably turn up late—my cousin is over from Sydney. His flight leaves at 4, though, so I can be in late afternoon.
Topic list? Round the table in turns? Shall we aim to have a round table (that worked quite nicely in March) or small groups at a larger table?
