I’ve already given this post a strong-upvote and that seems like not enough, so I’ll say here that this seems like one of the more morally significant messages I’ve seen ’round these parts in a while. Historical eugenics was really bad, and has poisoned a lot of thinking about human genetics and well-being. While this is not a perfect basis for moral reasoning about human genetic futures, it’s a big colorful signpost on the way there.
