Eliezer, I recommend you to read Dennett’s “Artificial Intelligence as Psychology and as Philosophy”, in his collection of essays Brainstorms. It may be a bit dated, but it makes a very nice case for a division of territory between AI, Psy and Phi, and how each of them can help the others.
