Not in the sense I mean. I think it’s mostly body language reading. Also it’s read-access rather than write-access. The former in extreme form can be scary (eg maybe you can’t ever keep secrets from an AI) but it’s much less scary than the write-access version.
What about mentalists? Don’t they use cognitive exploits?
