I think sometimes I’m drawn to claims that are some combination of analytically “correct” and plausible and I can defend + original or semi-original, vs correct and likely.
I’m sure many researchers are like this and thinking in this way has a number of advantages. But nonetheless my final output shouldn’t look like this as much.
