I’m trans so I have a motive to search for evidence that suggests I am ~biologically valid~ and not subject to some kind of psychosocial delusion.
Basically every cognitive trait we can measure has a genetic component. Which political party you vote for has a genetic component. Schizophrenia has a genetic component. Establishing heredity does not rule out something being a purely psychosocial delusion, because the field of psychiatry has firmly established that “susceptibility to psychosocial delusion” is a heritable trait.
