Very close to yes, but no. I value higher intelligence as such, and rationality seems to be characteristic of the highest intelligences currently known (i.e., humans), but I don’t assume that vastly superhuman intelligences will necessarily be characteristically rational any more than they will necessarily have lots of money or lots of bananas.
