A more personal shift in view has been me going from believing that if God exists (which I don’t think he does, but entertaining the hypothetical for a moment) He must be evil, to believing that is is possible for a sentient creator of [the universe that we find ourselves in] to be benevolent, under some not-unreasonable metaphysical assumptions. This has impacted how I interact with theists, and updated me towards believing that theistic philosophers aren’t as crazy as I had previously thought.
