What are Humans, God or Devil ?

What are humans? Are we the most cruel beings on Earth, or are we the most saint-like ones?

Because answering this question might just give us the answer to the existence of Gods, Angels, Devils, Demons, and everything in between.

We are the only species that can shape the destiny of the entire planet and all the beings living in it. We can be kind and gentle sometimes and can also be extremely cruel without any reason. We decide what happens, and no other species can question it.

If we justify this behavior by saying, “We can do it because we are the dominant species,” then aren’t Gods and Devils just the same? Are they not just beings superior to us, separated only by how they treat those under them?

Maybe the real battle between God and Devil has always been fought within us — because humans are neither angels nor demons, but the crossroads where both meet.

Suppose there is a stray dog living his life (we can imagine him as a human too), and then there comes a man — maybe he’s drunk, maybe he fought with his wife, or maybe he just likes being cruel.

He sees the dog and starts hitting him, for no reason except that the dog was there. He beats him so badly that the dog is on the verge of death, and then he leaves.

Later, another man comes by, sees the dying dog, and takes him for treatment, saving his life.

From the dog’s perspective, the first man is the Devil, and the second man is like a God.

Isn’t that how we also see Gods and Devils?

Maybe the Gods and Devils we believe in are real. Maybe they are beings superior to us. Maybe they are our imagination born from our reflection. Maybe they are just our mirror reflection of ourselves.

I don’t know.

But if they really are beings superior to us, can we ever truly question the choices they make, or how they treat us?

Because if power justifies our actions — as it does with humans — then why should it be any different with beings more powerful than us?
