When I say that I’m pessimistic about governance, this is going to become my marquee anecdote for why: you did everything that could have been asked of you and then some and then some more, over the course of months, and then institutional power in a handful of different forms said “no thanks” in a dozen different ways.
My understanding is the power dynamics within the US government are significantly different from the power dynamics within GDM, to the point that I am confused why you think there is any but the shallowest of analogies one could make between the two, and such a shallow analogy doesn’t make for a great “marquee anecdote”.

I was reading Lorxus as talking about corporate governance rather than USG governance.
