The discipline throughout is to never put real-world knowledge into the weights in the first place; when the model has to do real-world work, you feed it the minimum in context, on a need-to-know basis.
Yeah, what I was proposing is you could with significant effort get many of the current uses of AI. I guess the way I would conceptualize it is you have a subhuman AI agent that manages the AIs that are stuck on the altworld so the subhuman AI figures out what concepts are relevant and feeds them to the altworld AI to reason about. Easier said than done ofc.
