Not even Yudkowsky is sure about it. Also consider that my comments, where I argue that the idea might not justify censorship, are upvoted as well. Further, there are a lot of smart and productive people who hold irrational beliefs.
In this case of course you can choose not know about it, because the idea isn’t worth knowing anyway. But making decisions based on votes you receive on LW and Yudkowsky’s infallibility seems not to be a very good heuristic.
