I don’t mean the “pirates be pirates” approach, but the “here’s what the rules say, and here’s what people often do, and the actual driver in a similar situation should keep in mind both these things, because the guy in the other lane counts on him knowing them (and they both know people sometimes break rules)”. I think it rather odd that I can’t remember such articles, but maybe it’s because I didn’t pay attention to them.
