But unfortunately if you have to make the decision between cryonics for yourself vs. saving N children from starvation: If you still want to be alive in 100,000 years you will have to be selfish, and I don’t blame you.

I agree that I don’t think moral judgments are the issue.

Values are critical to identity; changing them to increase life expectancy changes your identity.
