Depending on what the ‘ground truth’ capabilities curve looks like, we might see a significant period of time in which all of what some humans can do can be automated, but another group of humans remain able to do things that cannot be automated, and sees those capabilities as fundamental to their humanity to the point that they genuinely cannot conceive of the idea that someone might not have them.
