I love encountering pieces of ‘technology’ that could have been invented 50 or 100 years ago but only arrived recently.
I run a carbon market in one of my classes where small groups of students each represent a fictional firm and sell permits, negotiate prices etc. over the course of a single week. This has got me thinking about whether it’s worth expanding and making the firms more realistic.
