Deceptive liberal strategies are very fun! Here are some examples I’ve seen in games:
Discard a blue as president and claim it was red. Untill the deck is reshuffled, this lowers everyone’s believed probability that a president will get 3 reds, so it increases the perceived cost for fascists to lie about getting 3 reds, and so fascists will play less red cards.
Not playing seriously as a liberal so that you can get away with more when you’re a fascist.
Alice knows Bob really well and can tell he’s lying, but the other players don’t know them and wouldn’t take Alice’s word for it, so Alice starts a conflict with Bob to make everyone else not trust him.
