I agree that it would be most useful as a propaganda tool for AI Safety, and I wondered whether using it as a propaganda tool (in a wider sense of the word) is actually the typical approach. Seems like yes.
This feels different from YouTube (unless I am wrong about YouTube) where at least naively it seems like the typical approach is to try getting lots of money from ad views. At least it originally was like that.
