Can you really tax all of this however you like? Won’t some of this friction-removal include many businesses moving most of their profits to whatever jurisdictions function as tax havens?
The level of friction-reduction and job displacement in the essay might demand AGI, but some level doesn’t. I think we will probably see problems like this occur before facing all the hard parts of alignment.
