Your segment on defence versus attack has me thinking. One thing for a defender to do would be to put a dummy up which looks approximately human shaped, to fool the drones into attacking it. Combine this with a short range EMP or net gun or other disabling device to ambush the drones.
Thre would be an arms race of course with drones looking for movement and heat and dummy creators adding motors and heat sources.
