It’s pretty normal for philosophers to rubbish all (other) philosophers. Think of it as being like how niggers call each other niggers. So for example and just off the top of my head, you can find Cicero praising Socrates for applying philosophy to practical real life concerns instead of the rubbishy pre-Socratics speculating about the origins of the universe and matter; you can find Sextus Empiricus rubbishing every non-skeptic as being sadly deluded and deluding everyone else with their talks of logic; you can find Nietzsche (well, I hardly need describe him) calling the previous 2 milleniums of philosophy literally ‘sick’ or diseased (gosh, so that ‘trolling’ isn’t even original!) thanks to the Apollonian and then Christian influences; or Hume talking about casting almost all philosophy to the flames; Wittgenstein thinking he solved all the problems of philosophy and showing most discussions to be literal ‘nonsense’...
